Drunken Softball Extravaganza

Game Time: 8/9 @ high noon

Last year we all had a lot of fun when I hosted the drunken softball game at the baseball field down the street from me. Matthew and a few others showed an interest in doing this again. My neighbor Bob is also celebrating his birthday next Saturday and his friends are also interested in a drunken softball game. Let's get a list of who can participate so we can organize a highly competitive drunken softball game. After our softball game, we can go to Bandito Barney's Beach Club which is a decent size outdoor/beach bar in East Dundee with live music. This way we can avoid all the broski's at the clubs that Nicole suggested. Although the atmosphere may take us away from the Heineken crew, we can still make the jagar bombs rain down so we can showa in da shit!

Rules: You must have an alcoholic drink of some sort in your hands at ALL times with the exception only when you are at bat. Failure to circle the bases with an alcoholic drink results in an automatic out.

*Bob will be supplying a slew of his friends also.

There will also be a RockBand Rock off before the bars Saturday night. Teams of 4 will be in a double elimination round robin tournament.

Winners will receive a broken set of drumsticks I smashed during my first RockBand party.

I'm down for the softball game.

I'm assuming there will be no designated hitters, so I would probably be best as a pitcher (overhand) or in the outfield - those are the two areas where my strong and accurate throw would be most beneficial imho.

I would like to make a suggestion....Instead of having to carry an alcoholic drink at all times, why not put a keg at second base and in order for the runner to proceed past second, they must chug a beer.

Lmao! I can make it to Bandito's but because of prior arrangements (work), I will not be attending the drunken softball game.

It does sound like a great time...and I like Kyles idea about the keg...but I'm with Dale... we can't make this one but if there is a rain date let me know!
